Dr. Somsak Aphasitongsakun is an Assistant Professor at the Devision of Social and Administrative Pharmacy, Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahasarakham University. He obtained his Bachalor of Pharmacy from Mahidol University in 1986 and Master of Science (Health Consumer Protection and Health Management) from Khon Kaen University in 2005. Later, he completed his Doctor of Philosophy (Social and Administrative Pharmacy) from Chulalongkorn University in 2012.

Dr. Aphasitongsakun has extensive experience in the field of social pharmacy. He has published several papers in this field. His research focuses on knowledge, attitude, behaviors of drug use among students and villagers in Mahasarakham province.

Dr. Aphasitongsakun is also the Head of Community Learning Center, designed to help students learn about local community life, community surveys, home visits, and how to make innovations to promote health in the community.
