Prasoborn Rinthong, Ph.D is an Assistant Professor in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Technology at the Division of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahasarakham University. She graduated with a B.Sc. in Pharmacy from the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Khon Kaen University, Thailand. She has been working at the Faculty of Pharmacy since April 2001. With her research interest in herb and traditional medicine, she completed the doctoral degree in Pharmacognosy in 2008 from the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Science, Chulalongkorn University,Thailand. She was also appointed a certificate in Herbal Pharmacy and a diploma in Herbal Pharmacy from the College of Herbal Pharmacy of Thailand in 2022. Dr. Rinthong works as an editorial board committee of Isan Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences and she also serves as national and international peer reviewer for scientific journals. Her research is focusing on the extraction and quality control of plant secondary metabolites for commercialized production and innovative products.
