Dr. Benjamart Cushnie is Assistant Professor in the Clinical Pharmacy Group of Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahasarakham University. She had a bachelor’s degree in Nursing Sciences and a Master of Science in Pharmacology from Khon Kaen University in 1994 and 2003, respectively. She received her Ph.D. in Pharmacology from the Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, United Kingdom in 2008. Her research interests are mainly in antioxidant and antidiabetic activities of Thai traditional medicine and natural products. Dr. Cushnie is also interested in human drug metabolizing enzymes and how to target specific cytochrome P450 enzymes in carcinogenic pathways.
