Bridging Borders: Pharmacy MSU and UHS Unite to Tackle Cross-Border Health Challenges in Thailand and Lao PDR

In a recent meeting held from Jan 31 to Feb 2, 2567, Surasak Chaiyasong, Ph.D., Associate Professor in the Division of Social and Administrative Pharmacy, Faculty of Pharmacy, MSU in collaboration with the Program on Northeastern Center for Drug System Monitoring and Development, supported by the Center for Drug System Monitoring and Development of Thailand (DMD) and Thai Health Promotion Foundation (ThaiHealth) led teams to work on the cross-border medications and pharmacies between Thailand and Lao PDR project. Their dedication to addressing cross-border health challenges between Thailand and Lao PDR, with a keen focus on rectifying health disparities, was truly commendable. This initiative stood as a testament to their unwavering commitment to regional healthcare cooperation, showcasing their profound appreciation for the collective expertise that undoubtedly led to transformative and impactful outcomes.
