The Faculty of Pharmacy at Mahasarakham University had the honor of hosting a distinguished delegation from Vientiane Provincial Hospital, Lao People’s Democratic Republic (Lao PDR), as part of an academic exchange program.
On November 7, 2024, at the Thong Lung Phra Meeting Room, Assistant Professor Dr. Chanuttha Ploylearmsang, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, warmly welcomed the group. The delegation was led by Mrs. Vanpheng PHANTHANALAY, Director of Vientiane Provincial Hospital, and included senior management personnel, as well as eight faculty members from the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Health Sciences, Lao PDR.
The visit, held from November 6-7, 2024, encompassed knowledge exchange sessions focused on the management and operation of pharmacy care systems. The group engaged in a comprehensive study of outpatient and inpatient pharmacy services at Suthavej Hospital and observed the pharmaceutical production system at Mahasarakham Hospital. This collaborative endeavor provided a valuable platform for sharing insights into best practices and innovative strategies within the pharmacy and healthcare sectors of both institutions.
