The “MSU Happy” project was organized to encourage self-expression, develop social skills, and promote harmonious living with others. It also aimed to raise awareness about mental health, ensuring that students can easily access mental health services provided by the university.
The event featured various activity stations designed to promote mental well-being and enhance students’ skills, including:
- Happy Art Station
- Dormitory Happy Station
- Traffic Signs Station
- Young Love: Safe Love for Youth Station
- My Fortune Station
- Online Safety Awareness Station
- Warm Clinic: Peer Support for Youth Station
- MSU Anti-Fake News Station (Creative Media Club)
- Volunteer Pharmacists for Smoking Cessation Station
The University Pharmacy participated by hosting the Volunteer Pharmacists for Smoking Cessation Station, led by Assistant Professor Dr. Saithip Sutthiraksa, in collaboration with pharmacy staff and student interns. They provided lung function testing and smoking cessation screenings. A total of 562 students participated in this station, with 7 expressing interest in quitting smoking and 20 opting for lung function testing.
Additionally, the event featured cover dance performances and live music by five folk bands, creating a lively and warm atmosphere filled with happiness. These activities not only enhanced students’ mental health but also developed their life skills for a better quality of living.
The event also included booths selling products from students who received entrepreneurship scholarships, along with over 30 stalls run by students and staff. The event was held on the lawn next to the Sports and Recreation Center at Mahasarakham University.
