In 1998, the Faculty of Pharmacy MSU was initially based in the Walai Rukhavej Botanical Research Institute.
In 1999, the Faculty of Pharmacy and Health Sciences was approved by the University Council. Prof RME Richards, OBE was the first Dean until 2002. The Faculty consisted of 3 programs: Pharmacy, Public Health, and Applied Thai Traditional Medicine.
In 2002, the Public Health program was established as the Faculty of Public Health, and the Applied Thai Traditional Medicine program became a part of the Faculty of Medicine.
In early 2005, the “Faculty of Pharmacy and Health Sciences” was renamed as the “Faculty of Pharmacy”.
